Questions about digital invitations
The questions we hear most often. If yours is missing, write to us and we will reply as soon as we can.
ORDERING
What exactly is a digital invitation? A small, carefully made web page for your wedding, christening or party, with its own address. It holds your names, the date, the venues and anything else your guests need to know, and they reply to it directly. You send it as a link instead of posting a card.
Are all the designs in the same style? No. There are classic ones in gold, painted and colourful ones, playful ones for children and evening ones for grown-ups. We add new ones all the time.
What does the Party collection cover? Birthdays, kids' parties, graduations, engagements, name days or an evening with friends. Anything that is not a wedding or a christening belongs here.
How soon is it ready? Within 24 hours of having all your details. Atelier takes a few days longer, because it is designed from scratch.
What if I spot a mistake? Tell us and we fix it: a time, an address, a name. The invitation reaches nobody before you approve it.
Can I change something after sending it? Yes. We correct a time or an address and the link stays the same, so your guests always see the latest version.
Can it be in English and Greek? Yes. Order on this English site and your invitation is in English. With the bilingual extra (€19, included with Atelier) guests can switch between English and Greek.
We are getting married in Greece but live abroad. Can you help? Yes. Everything happens online, so it works the same from London, New York or Melbourne. Your guests get the church, the reception and, with Gold, the maps on their phone, in English.
Is a digital invitation acceptable for a Greek wedding or christening? Yes. Many couples and parents in Greece now send their invitation on WhatsApp or Viber, and print a few cards for grandparents. With the QR code, a printed card opens the same invitation.
PAYMENT
When do I pay? When you order, by card. Straight afterwards we start making your invitation.
Which currency? Euros. Prices include VAT and you pay securely by card through Stripe.
GUESTS
How do I send it to my guests? With one link, on WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, SMS or email. For anyone who prefers a card in their hand there is a QR code: included with Gold and Atelier, an extra €9 with Silver.
How does the RSVP work? Your guest writes their name, how many are coming and, if they like, a wish. The reply reaches your email at once. With Gold and Atelier you can download them all together in Excel.
Do guests need to download an app? No. The link opens straight in their phone's browser.
Is there a guest limit? No. Send it to everyone you love.
How is the IBAN for gifts shown? Discreetly, at the end of the invitation, with the account holder's name and a few words you choose. Guests copy it with one tap. Available with Gold and Atelier.
Can guests add the day to their calendar? Yes, with Gold and Atelier. One link under the first venue adds the whole day to Google, Apple or Outlook calendars.
AFTER THE EVENT
How long does it stay online? It depends on the package: Silver 5 days, Gold 10 days and Atelier 1 year after the event.
