Terms of use

This is an English translation of our terms of use in Greek. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Greek version prevails.

These terms govern the use of day2remember.gr and the provision of the Day2Remember services. Please read them before placing an order. By completing your order you confirm that you have read and accept them.

01Who we are

The Day2Remember service is provided by the general partnership A. Alatsatianos - A. Panagiotou O.E. (Α. ΑΛΑΤΣΑΤΙΑΝΟΣ - Α. ΠΑΝΑΓΙΩΤΟΥ Ο.Ε.), trading as Day2Remember (“we”, “us”).

02Definitions

  • Customer: the person who orders and pays for the Event Website, for example the couple, the parents or the organiser.
  • Consumer: a Customer acting for purposes outside any trade, business or profession.
  • Guest: anyone who opens the Event Website or sends a reply (RSVP).
  • Event Website: the digital invitation we create for the Customer at name.day2remember.gr.
  • Package: Silver, Gold or Atelier. Extras: the optional additional services.
  • Preview: the version we send you to check before publication.
  • Customer Content: names, dates, venues, texts, photos, IBAN, choice of music and any other material you give us.

03How to order

  • You fill in the order form with the details of the event and your contact details. You may also send the photos later, by replying to our email.
  • For Silver and Gold, after the form you are taken to the Stripe payment page, where payment is completed. If you leave the page before completing payment, you can start again from the form or write to us at hello@day2remember.gr.
  • The contract is concluded when payment succeeds. We send you a confirmation by email, with the statement of consent in section 8 and a link to these terms.
  • For Atelier, after the form we contact you and send you a final quote. The contract is concluded when you accept the quote and pay it through the link we send you.
  • We create the Event Website and send you a Preview link. Once you approve it, we publish it.

If payment is not completed, the order does not proceed and its details are deleted within 30 days. The contract is concluded in Greek. The service is intended for adults.

04Prices and payment

Prices are one-off, in euros, and include VAT where due. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. We recalculate the total at the time of the order. If a price shown on screen differs from the price list, the price list applies.

  • Silver: €59
  • Gold: €89
  • Atelier: from €290

Extras

  • Bilingual invitation (English + Greek): €19
  • Texts written by us: €29
  • QR file for printing: €9

Payment is made through Stripe by card or by any other method shown on the payment page, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not see or store your card details. Stripe sends you a payment receipt. We issue the statutory tax document (receipt or invoice) ourselves and send it to you by email.

05Delivery

We start work after payment, as soon as we have your material. For Silver and Gold, the Preview is delivered within 24 hours of our having all the material. For Atelier, the time is agreed together with the quote and is usually about five days. These times are indicative. They may be extended if material is missing, if clarifications are needed or during periods of high demand. We will let you know of any significant delay.

The Event Website is published no later than 24 hours after you approve the Preview. Please send your material in good time, especially when the event is close. We are not responsible for delays caused by material sent late or incomplete.

06Corrections and changes

  • Before approval, one round of corrections to the content (texts, names, times, venues, photos) is included with Silver and Gold. With Atelier, as many rounds as the quote provides.
  • After publication we correct any mistake of ours free of charge. Small changes, such as a change of time or venue, are also made free of charge, within reasonable limits.
  • Changes that substantially alter the Event Website, such as a different design or a different Package, may be charged. We always tell you first and proceed only if you agree.

By approving the Preview you confirm that the details are correct.

07How long the Event Website stays online

The Event Website stays online from publication until the day of the event and, after it, for the period set by the Package: 5 days with Silver, 10 days with Gold, one year with Atelier.

After expiry, the address shows only a closing page. Guests’ replies are deleted, as described in the Privacy policy. Each reply is already emailed to you at the moment it is sent. If you would like all of them together, ask us before expiry.

If the date of the event changes, let us know so that we can adjust the period.

08Cancellation and refunds

Every Event Website is made to order, with your own names, dates, venues, photos and choices, and is delivered digitally. For this reason, under Article 3ιβ of Greek Law 2251/1994 (Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU), there is no right of withdrawal, and the order cannot be cancelled or refunded after payment.

Before payment you expressly tick the following box. Without it, the order cannot proceed:

“I ask for work on my invitation to start straight after payment. I understand that the invitation is made specially for me and so it cannot be cancelled or refunded.”

We record the time of this statement and confirm it in the email we send after payment.

If something is not as you asked, we correct it as described in section 6. You may also ask us to take your Event Website down before it expires.

09Your content

You are responsible for the Customer Content. You confirm that:

  • the details are true and you have the right to publish them;
  • you have the right to use the photos, texts and music you choose, for example a YouTube video;
  • you have the consent of the people shown in the photos and, for minors, the consent of those exercising parental responsibility;
  • any IBAN you publish, for example for a wedding gift list, is published at your own choice. If the account belongs to someone else, you have their consent.

The Event Website does not appear in search engines (noindex). However, anyone with the link can open it, without a password. You decide whom you send the link to. The link may be forwarded to others without our control.

If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you gave us in breach of the above, you indemnify us to the extent permitted by law.

10Content we do not publish

We do not publish, and may remove, content that:

  • is illegal or defamatory, is offensive, or incites violence or hatred;
  • infringes the copyright, trade marks or personality rights of others;
  • is sexual in nature or puts minors at risk;
  • is used for fraud, phishing or unsolicited advertising;
  • does not relate to a real event.

In such a case we may refuse the order or deactivate the Event Website. We will explain the reason, unless the law prohibits it. If the order is not carried out, we refund the amount. If the breach is serious and yours, the amount is not refunded, unless the law provides otherwise. Reports of illegal content: hello@day2remember.gr.

11Intellectual property

The designs, code, graphics, layouts and the name Day2Remember belong to us or to their respective owners. The fonts and the music in our library are used under their licences. You receive a licence to use your Event Website for the specific event and for as long as the service lasts. The licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable. Copying the designs for any other purpose is not permitted.

Customer Content remains yours. You grant us only the permission to process it technically, for example to compress a photo, and to publish it on your Event Website, for as long as the service lasts. We do not show your Event Website as a sample of our work without your separate, express consent.

12Availability and liability

  • The Event Website is hosted on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. We do everything reasonable to keep it running without interruption, but we cannot guarantee 100% availability, for example in the event of provider failures, attacks or force majeure.
  • Guests’ replies are stored and sent to you by email. We are not responsible if an email does not arrive because of a spam filter or a wrong address.
  • Music from YouTube depends on YouTube. If the video is removed or restricted, it may not play.
  • We take no part in transactions between Guests and the Customer, such as gifts to the IBAN, and we are not responsible for them.
  • These limitations do not apply to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to injury to life, body or health. Nor do they limit the rights the law gives you as a Consumer, including for digital services that do not conform to the contract. In every other case our liability is limited to the amount you paid.

13Personal data

How we process the data of Customers and Guests is described in the Privacy policy.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the terms in force on the day of payment. A later change applies only if it is in your favour or is required by law.

15Governing law and disputes

Greek law applies. If you are a Consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country. The courts of Athens have jurisdiction. A Consumer may always also bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.

Alternative dispute resolution

A Consumer may also contact:

  • the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman, www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr;
  • the Amicable Settlement Committees of the Bar Associations (Article 11 of Law 2251/1994);
  • other alternative dispute resolution bodies listed in the Register of the General Secretariat for Commerce.

You may also file a complaint with the Directorate-General for Consumer Protection, on 1520. For cross-border disputes, contact the European Consumer Centre Greece. The European ODR platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025.
