A Greek christening, in English
A Greek Orthodox christening is a day for the whole family, often with relatives who live abroad. The godparent, the nonos or nona, gives the child their name at the font, so many guests hear it for the first time in church. The invitation tells everyone the church, the time and the reception in English. With Gold each venue has its own map.

CHRISTENING QUESTIONS
Are there designs for twins? Yes, for two boys, two girls and a boy and a girl. The invitation carries both names and costs the same as one christening.
Can the child's name stay a surprise? Yes. The invitation can show only the surname or the initials, and your guests hear the name at the church. One design, Secret name, is made for exactly that.
Is a christening the same as a baptism? In the Greek Orthodox Church they are one service: the child is baptised and receives their name. Use whichever word your guests know. The invitation can say either.
Can we list the godparents? Yes, with their names and in the order you like, together with the parents. Twins with different godparents can have each listed under their own child.
Choose a design, pay when you order, and we build it for you.
